MY OSCAR PREDICTIONS

The Oscar nominations are out and here are my winner predictions. It was a bit hard because I think the movies and actors are such a great selection & fun group of people thus making it harder! I also think people are tired of Serious/Depressing movies because the movies this year just reflect fun & enjoying what life brings.Here goes: Best Actor: Forest Whitaker (Last King of Scotland) HANDS DOWN!!!!

Best Actress: Helen Mirren (The Queen) or Meryl Streep (Devil Wears Prada)

Best Supporting Actor: Djimon Honsou (Blood Diamond) or Eddie Murphy (Dreamgirls)

Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) or Abigail Brenslin (Sunshine)

Best Picture: “Letters from Iwo Jima" (Clint Eastwood & Steven Spielberg)

Best Director: Martin Scorcese (The Departed)

Best Adapted Screenplay: Children of Men or The Departed

Best Original Screenplay: The Queen or Babel

Ps. Just wanted to point our that Leonardo DiCaprio is in 2 movies -Both of which are nominated for Oscars. The man knows how to pick great roles: The DEPARTED & BLOOD DIAMOND.
